Where are you based and do you travel?
Our studio is located at 55 Leonard Rd, Schomberg, Ontario. We're nestled perfectly in King Township which has gorgeous grounds for outdoor sessions in addition to our stylized indoor space.
And yes, I can travel anywhere!
How and when will photos be delivered?
Our current turnaround time for your edited images is one week or sooner!
I deliver a private online digital collection for all sessions. You will receive a link via the email you provided at time of booking.
For lifestyle sessions you will receive your full edited digital collection.
For studio portraits your reveal will be within one week of your session and all images ordered for retouching will be ready for download within a week of the reveal.
Print and album turnaround is 4-6 weeks with our local Canadian print labs.
Rush editing and delivery may be available if your timeline is tight.
how much editing do you do?
Studio Portraiture and Lifestyle Images have slightly different processes for both creation and post-production.
Since your studio portraiture is meant to serve as the very best legacy photography for you and your family to treasure forever, there is a more intensive editing process to perfect the image - skin, hair, clothing, etc.
The goal here is utmost quality over quantity.
Lifestyle sessions are designed for sharing (prints, social media, etc.) and we want to ensure you have a wide variety of content from your session. The editing is more creative and artistic as we are showcasing subject and location (more stylized colours, light leaks, contrast, etc.), but less retouching is necessary.
How many images will i receive?
For lifestyle sessions, your entire edited collection is included in your session fee. You will typically receive 50 images per hour.
During a studio session we slow things down - we'll spend more time nailing poses, hair, clothing, and expression - and the retouching is more elaborate. You will receive 30-50 images in your proofing gallery. From there you can choose your favorites for final retouching.
